1. How HKTT collects your personal information

HKTT collects personal data from different parts of the website in a variety of ways. The collection methods are described below. If you do not agree to these rules, please stop using HKTT services immediately.

Providing your personal data is voluntary. When certain personal information is marked as required, you can refuse to provide personal information, but it may cause HKTT to be unable to execute your request, provide related services, or you may not be able to participate in our online activities.

The personal data you provide or the personal data collected by HKTT will be used to provide services related to the website. HKTT may also use the personal data you provide for the following purposes or methods:

b. To provide you with services, including but not limited to process your orders and returns;

When you register to become a member of HKTT, we will ask you to provide your personal information including not but limited to your name, phone number and email address. Such personal data will be used to manage the website and conduct market research. With your consent, we also may use your personal data for direct marketing. Internet activities and online surveys

When you participate in HKTT online activities or online surveys (including sweepstakes, voting, contests or promotions), we will ask you to provide personal information such as your name, phone number, email address, and address to facilitate the activity and be able to notify you of prizes. With your consent, we may also use your personal data for direct marketing. For further information, please refer to Article 4 below.

General browsing

In order to evaluate the traffic of each webpage and the users’ path to HKTT, HKTT will keep relevant records generated by the server when you browse the Internet, including the IP address of the connected device, the time of use, the browser used, click data records, etc. We will mark the browsers of individual users, summarize and organize the web pages browsed by the user‘s browser within HKTT website to keep your information confidential and safe, unless you are willing to inform your personal information or explicitly consent to cross border information transfer. In the latter case, HKTT will not be able to conform to this term with you. Such transfer may present possible risks for you due to the lack of an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards.

Please note that the websites linked to HKTT may also collect your personal information. When you provide your personal information through the method above, these rules will not be applied to these strategic alliance partners or linked websites. Thus, HKTT shall not bear any joint liability.

Other

If you write to contact HKTT or report your comments to the customer service through “Contact Us”, HKTT will save your communication records for the above-mentioned purposes. In addition, we will occasionally invite users to complete the survey data used by HKTT for internal research.

2. Rules for sharing your personal data between HKTT and third parties

We may share your personal information with our third-party shared service providers for the above purposes, including distributors who directly supply you with products, service providers who assist HKTT in managing promotional lists, online activities, online surveys and market research. However, we will not share your personal information with any third party for its own direct marketing activities. Where required by applicable laws, we will obtain your consent before sharing personal data with third parties.

When you connect to HKTT website and are asked to enter personal information, unless we make a special statement, such personal information can only be accessed and used by HKTT. For example, some promotional activities are co-organized with cooperative advertisers and in order to provide you with such promotions or activities, we will share your personal information with these cooperative advertisers. If any personal data is collected or protected by companies other HKTT, we will notify you before the data collection or transfer. If you do not want information to be shared, you can choose not to use the service to prohibit the transmission of information.

3. The function of Cookies and how they are used

In order to provide personalized services, HKTT uses Cookies to store and track information about you at certain times. According to the following purposes and circumstances, HKTT writes and reads Cookies in your browser.

Each browser of HKTT is assigned a unique cookie to determine the degree of repeated use, compare the use times of registered users and non-registered users, and assist in determining advertising targets based on user interests and behavior patterns. Statistical analysis for the number of browsers and browsing mode is used by HKTT to improve website services by better understanding the situation of web browsing.

Track your progress and frequency when participating in promotions and sweepstakes:

When cookies are used in promotional activities sponsored by HKTT, the information written into cookies indicates the progress of participants during the entire promotional process and can be used to track the participation and status of the sweepstakes.

Measure browsing patterns, that is, which web pages you visit, and the amount of visits you have accumulated:

We can use this information to understand whether the user habits are similar or different, which can improve your browsing experience in HKTT. HKTT will use the above information to enable you and other users to see more personalized content, advertising and promotional content at HKTT.

Target-oriented advertising:

4. How HKTT handles the collection and use of personal information

We take your privacy seriously. We have implemented security safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including the use of the following measures:

a. Physical security measures, such as restricted access facilities and appropriate disposal of Personal Data;

b. Electronic security measures, such as password protection, for accessing computerised Personal Data.

d. SSL to secure and encrypt sensitive information like credit cards, usernames, passwords, and other private data sent over the Internet. Website pages secured with SSL and TLS are those branded with the HTTPS in their URL address.

Please note that we cannot be responsible for any Personal Data you share or post by way of submissions to the public spaces of our Site. These are public areas and may be consulted or viewed by anyone visiting these sections of our Site and, as such, falls outside this Privacy Policy.

You can ask us to stop using your personal data for direct marketing at any time. When we use your personal information for direct marketing, we will not only indicate on the information or e-mail that it was sent by HKTT, but also provide on the information or e-mail a method by which you can stop receiving such information or e-mail at any time. If you do not wish to receive such e-mails or information, simply modify your membership information, indicating that you refuse to accept such information and e-mails.

5. How long HKTT keeps personal information

We retain your personal information for no longer than is necessary for the purpose(s) for which it was provided in accordance with this Privacy Policy. What this means in practice will vary between different categories of personal information. When determining the relevant retention periods, we take into account factors including:

•the warranty period for any products you have purchased from us;

Otherwise, we securely delete your personal information from our systems when it is no longer needed.

6. HKTT’s safety precautions for users’ personal information

Please properly manage your Member Account and any personal information, and do not provide such information to any third party.

If you are sharing your computer with others or are using a public computer, remember to close the browser window to prevent others from reading your personal information.

Inevitable risk

Once HKTT receives the information you send, HKTT will do its best to ensure the security of the storage in the system. Since Internet data transmission cannot guarantee 100% security, HKTT cannot guarantee the security of the data you send to or received from HKTT. Although we will work hard to protect the security of your personal data, you are also requested to bear the aforementioned risks.

7. Right to access and correct personal information

You have the right to check whether we hold any of your personal information and request access to and to correct your personal information in any of our records. You can modify or delete your profile within certain HKTT services, through your account. Your information previously posted may still be publicly viewable. After you delete or we assist you to delete the information, we may not be able to immediately delete the relevant information from the backup system due to applicable laws and security technologies, and we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until the backup can be deleted or anonymized.
